There's a lot of complex mathematics involved but essentially the more time and effort and practice you put into anything nets you better results, ergo the more you gamble the more money you will make from gambling. People that don't gamble at all have never won at gambling!
There was one guy who realized that since old roulettes were defective, out of hundreds of rolls, some numbers would barely be more common than others. He used this to win a lot of cash and was banned from several casinos.
That's the best thing about gambling actually, if you keep doing it you will eventually come out on top.

It's hard to find many actually good books about gambling science because the people that know it are too busy gambling to write books
