I would say we loved him more than he knew, but honestly Comandante Chavez was one of those leaders who genuinely seemed to love humanity like an older brother. He knew, he knew that the hope for communism heading into the 21st century and the rebirth of communism in both americas was on his shoulders. We couldn't have asked for anyone better, and not even policy wise, or ideologically, but as a leader and as a force of momentum few people have been as equivalent to Lenin as Hugo was.
