the one where the child being abused by a horrible family runs away from home, dies on the street... and goes to hell because running away from home is still disobedience.
Lisa is probably worse, think that's the only one the guy actually withdrew. Guy molests his daughter and then comes to Jesus, gets his wife to come to Jesus, and then they both promise to stop abusing Lisa. Nobody faces any actual consequences.
Don't know which one you're talking about but some of these end up unintentionally funny for how little it takes to be damned in Chick's theology. It's kind of the issue with those churches, they literally view all sin as equivalent and so extremely justifiable disobedience is exactly as bad as sex crimes, and so they beat the shit out of their kids and forgive the pedophiles that molest those same kids. Which of course attracts pedophiles to those churches.

Did it ever occur to them that rebelling against what was said to be the continual reign of Christ through the Catholic Church to establish Protestant breakaway sects is an act of disobedience against what was said to be the will of Christ himself?

interestingly he hates catholics and muslims (who were created by the catholics??? huh???) but loves jews and israel. like he makes it extremely clear catholics go to hell for not accepting jesus christ as their lord and savior (lol ok) but nothing bad gets said about jews. he even bashes catholics for their role in pogroms and the holocaust (get their ass chick). jewish characters in the tracts just so happen to accept jesus christ at the last minute, that's how he dodges saying jews go to hell lmao.
