To make it even more clear:

Plant-Based Capitalism is not ethically vegan. PBC includes but is not limited to Fast Food Megacorporations (McDonalds/Subway/KFC/Burger King/Carl's Jr etc.) that are making money for the Animal Agricultural Lobbyists by following the plant based trend. Also included are many plant-based food producers who engage in non-vegan practices such as animal testing (Impossible, Beyond, Daiya, Gardein, Boca, and Field Roast just to name a few.) We're not here to make the vegan food aisles bigger, this is about animal liberation.

What? They’re not vegan. You aren’t onboarding anyone when several of your family members eat animal flesh and her byproducts “some of the time”. They aren’t vegan at all.

Veganism is a stance that human people should live without exploiting non human people. It’s not a plant based diet / consumer position in a capitalist society. Your family hasn’t even reached the plant based diet bar yet, which isn’t a bar at all in veganism, because it isn’t a diet but an ethical stance/position. Please don’t dilute the meaning of veganism. You are either vegan or you’re not. Conversely, you are either carnist or you’re not. Incrementalism or baby steps etc. won’t be tolerated.

I didn't say my family was vegan in any way.

Please take more care with your understanding if you're going to be critical. Maybe ask questions when you don't think something is clear. If you act like this irl among comrades you'll only create a toxic environment.

Despite all of these products becoming increasingly popular, meat production continues to rise in the US. It seems scientifically, consumption cannot lead to liberation.

Yeah, Burger King's CEO specifically said that PB foods they sell don't make carnists switch, but rather, they get PB people/vegetarians to go buy from BK. PBC only helps meat capital, it doesn't threaten it in the least
