Yes, his sexual harassment is fucking disgusting and that should have been the end of him, but the nursing home situation. My god. Part of me wonders if he leaked the sexual harassment stuff (or prompted that one lady to start the conversation) to CHANGE THE SUBJECT from his Covid missteps. Lmao.

It seems like each week something new comes out about how fucking horrible it was, mainly because of him and his close knit donors in the healthcare industry.

Shocked a family member of a victim hasn’t tried to do a January 6th in Albany. Holy shit what a disaster and no one is talking about it.

Fuck

he legalized weed to derail the negative press coverage

I'm pretty sure no normal person likes him but without the press and no organized movement against him, it looks like he'll cling onto power

        Yep:

Andrew Cuomo, Matt Gaetz, and the New “Never Resign” School of Politics

In recent years, many politicians have seemed to realize that remaining in office is often the best path out of a scandal—for their own sake if no one else’s. https://archive.is/8y4Bz

Between this and the republican party realizing they have no incentive to support any democrat bill, it's not too long before politicians realize they can pretty much abandon what little democracy we have. Pretty cool!

He made it clear early in the pandemic that we was not trump, so that gave him absolute immunity.

    I hate it.

My personal grievance against Cuomo is small all things considered but it nevertheless shows exactly where his priorities lay and who he serves.

My job as a bartender as a winery wasn't perfect but it was good enough pre pandemic (getting drunk at work is kinda a lumpenproletariat dream come true) even if it meant serving the ruling class, literally.

Cuomo's decision to allow wineries to begin serving people in person before bars was clearly motivated by class politics.

Who owns wineries? Rich fucks, that's who. Who owns bars? Mostly small business tyrants at best.

The clientele of wineries also tends to be wealthier than that of bars (at least bars not in a major city.)

Of course he didn't give a fuck about the proletariat. Who cares if we get COVID, we're just his servants.

    1. Caved on weed hard enough to make most people chill

    2. "yeah I did it, what are you gonna do about it?" We live in late republican Rome but with wifi, and this kinda shit is pretty common in a crumbling republic
