I know we say he doesn’t miss, but this is so literally spot on and so obvious that idk why the staffer tweeted this.

I am actually puzzled as to what the strategic reason behind sending those messages is. I guess the people reading them probably already believe those things are true about America, so putting them all in a message is a neat way to both reassure your base that they live in the best country in the world, but also setting the bar very high for other countries so they'll think no other country is as democratic as the US. Just crazy to me the amount of cognitive dissonance you must feel if you think American institutions are great at ensuring that the people's best interests are represented but somehow 50% of the time the country's leadership are monsters and we need to :vote: to get them out.

Cognitive dissonance is like fundamental to the american experience. It's a huge reason why people go postal. Imagine living in a country that's blasting you in the media all day about how it's the greatest country on earth, meanwhile your standard of living keeps dropping and everything around you keeps getting worse, year after year. It's no wonder people snap. But you're not allowed to talk about this, and when you can, you just blame it on Trump and it's a one-off.

Neoliberal "statesmanship". To them politicians literally are like theme park mascots, their jobs are to go around and sprouts generic slogans and engages in pointless formalities. Getting things done? Don't you know how complex and multifaceted real life is, silly leftie?

Looking back at Trump, 90% of shit thrown at him by liberals is literally about how we keeps acting "un-presidentlike", just going off about what's he's thinking instead of doing monthly "Things Will HappenTM" address.

These passive aggressive tweets are how the Dems express their policy goals. Biden is sad rn 😓 because the voting rights bill the House passed is probably not gonna happen.

They get off on gaslighting you. Only someone drunk off americana would think any of this applies to our "democracy" so your average lib I suppose.

Well it wouldn't really make sense to call Biden state affiliated media because he doesn't work in media. But it is BS that BBC, PBS, and their hosts don't count as state-affiliated.

"Listen, Jack! We just convinced millions of Americans that planes and birds were aliens. Convincing them to put on their own shackles and then cheer is a layup and as American as chocolate, chocolate chip pie."
