Not being into someone that's overweight or underweight--- something they could control by losing or gaining weight, is not the same as not being into someone for their height.

Fyi you really do not want to do this unless medically necessary. An osteotomy is incredibly painful. They are literally breaking/sawing through the entire bone in order to insert permanent titanium rods and screws, which new bone will fuse and grow around.

I would know because I've had like 14 osteotomies performed on 14 vertebrae of my spine (not the leg but same general idea). I gained over 3 inches in height, but that definitely was not the reason for the operation. It was done because I was losing the ability to walk.

Also the recovery is much longer than the claimed 6-8 weeks. Yeah, after 6 weeks you should be able to walk unassisted and do most things, but the healing and pain will still be there. Full bone fusion takes a minimum of 6 months to a year. That is the actual period to a full recovery.

There's a reason most orthopaedic surgeons will only perform these procedures if the patient meets strict criteria and will refuse to do so otherwise. (50 degree Cobb's angle for scoliosis, or rapid progression if the curve is under that angle, same story for kyphosis but at a 75 degree angle. The criteria for leg fusion and osteotomy is most likely similarly strict in different ways)

I'm tall, so never heard this. Shoutout to our short comrades making their way to Mexico as we speak.

Wast majority of people who set out to lose significant weight fail so I don't think it's a very strong argument.

You don't have much control over who you are attracted to but there are standards you should probably not be vocal about. I'm sure everyone here would look down at someone having a vocal standard of "NO FAT CHICKS".
