Nah, we had incels before online dating, it was just that online dating was coming into its hay day right around the time incels we’re getting the most mainstream media attention. Online dating is mostly fine, idk why everyone acts like things were better in “the good old days”. Regularly dating sucks too and even if you prefer it apps, it’s not like tinder eliminated bars, you can still try and hook up with people there if you like. I meet my last three partners on tinder and I’m not a hunk so idk why everyone seems to think it’s so awful.
I mean, like half the serious couples I know meet via online dating, including the one I'm currently in. There's aspect of it that suck, but honestly I find a lot of them carry over to regular dating as well.
