I mean it’s a ToI article. When [x] Americans die or are unaccounted for in [foreign disaster] it’s not uncommon for the US press to mention that figure.
It isn't though. It's a CBS Miami article reporting information from the TOI about a local disaster. Which is bizarre, I'd assume they would have their own reporters on the ground to report total number of people missing.
