This person clearly doesn't know what words mean

I'm gonna assume they know exactly what words mean so I can dunk on their nonsensical statement in an oddly specific bad-faith way.

yes, that's the joke. you have identified that the humor derives from an internal contradiction because anarchism is incompatible with such an absurd rentier position, leading to a surprise for comedic effect. I'm not sure why you're taking this so personally, it's a joke and not even at the expense of anarchism just some clown on the internet

Someone reported your comment for sectarianism. I resolved the report, because your comment wasn't sectarian and isn't removal-worthy. Still, I often engage with not-removal-worthy comments that I think deserve a bit of pushback. But it seems like your misinterpretation of the comment was intentional. Maybe I just need to take a joke.

    They seem cool.

They're probably progressive and anti-capitalist who'd be down to go to protests and dunk on libs and chuds with you but has read more Bakunin than Lenin and thinks USSR, China BAD for either :zenz: or entirely valid anarchist reasons.

I don't know what your local dating scene's like but if your tinder political criteria are much tighter than

    Not a homophobe ✅

    Anti-Capitalist ✅

Willing to do something about it ✅

You're probably not going to have an easy time of things.

there are left-anarchists that don't call themselves commies, i wouldn't see this as a negative on it's own

Most people don't know what words mean. It doesn't make much sense to assume people know what words mean when you try to figure out what they meant by some nonsensical statement.

To add on to @ComradeEchidna :

        • Anarcho-Primitivists: Wide-spread de-industrialization , and a reckoning with what brought the alienation in the first place

        • Anarcho-Nihilists: Everything must be destroyed before progress can be made, there's no point in attempting to build mutual aid until society as a whole can move past hell-Capitalism

I'm aware of individualists as well, but I'm not sure I fully understand what their M.O. is
