There are valid reasons to dual-boot with Windows, and anyone acting like you have a moral obligation to forego your favorite games in order to completely excise Windows from your life is a clown.

But seriously you should be using Linux as your primary OS

The new Windows and some encouragement from comrades here was the push I needed to switch to Linux, andI love it so far. Now, if I can just figure out how how to get my automated torrenting setup working again... :angery:

I've been running Linux as my primary OS for quite a long time now. I have a very slow old work laptop that runs Windows because it was needed for software compatibility at one point, but no longer. I bought a new (used) laptop recently and Windows 10 was surprisingly decent, so I thought I'd just set up a dual boot and keep the Windows partition small but available. Installed linux and was cruising along without trouble, booted into windows and it wanted to update itself so I let it. Windows then broke the fuckin bootloader. Wiped that shit and went back to single boot Linux. Keep your grubby dickbeaters off my bootloader, microsoft.
