    It doesnt get cold at night. Usually during hot summers, we keep the windows and doors open overnight to cool the house down, but it was 80 degrees at midnight last night. The rooms in my house that we've closed off from the AC are over 120

    I'm in genuine disbelief when I walk outside. I've lived here my whole life and I don't even recognize my front yard as home. Everything is ungodly quiet as well

      I've noticed this too. I haven't seen a single bird or critter today, which is pretty crazy

        I walked outside 10 seconds ago just to check. I didn't hear a damn thing beyond the AC running. Saw a car driving down the street as well and even it seemed unusually quiet, like somehow the heat is muffling all the sound

    In Texas it feels like "get your ass inside where it's air conditioned" but I know up there a lot of folks don't have those :scared:
