    Hey, I spend lots of time getting with persistent pain people to start working out. The big key is that it has to be meaningful, which means...

    1. you have to like it
    2. it has a social function
    3. it's tied to something you care about deeply.

    By my estimation, if you can get 2/3 of those from an activity, you'll feel in less pain and happier. I don't care if it's lifting weights or salsa dancing.
