Takes some time. Most things outside of movement skills tend not to improve in a week's time. Muscle growth tends to be notable after 6-8 weeks on imaging, for example. Cardiovascular endurance can come quicker.

I feel that. Small town i live in has lots of home gyms. During shut down I just did work trades for access to the garage gyms and we were careful with limiting contact.

Once stuff opened back up it’s just been fine working out masked up. Tbh if you’re someone who can’t outdoor cardio, then I feel some sympathy for you, but not lifting tbh.
