Y'all ever learn an instrument as an adult? As soon as I have stable income and a place to live I wanna try developing my musical side. I love psychedelic rock/pop/whatever and wouldn't mind learning the synthesizer but maybe start with a keyboard/piano

I learned the bass when I was like 20. though I will admit playing bass is very very easy, you just kinda loop the same basic shit over and over 80% of a song for most songs, which is why I learned the bass (bassists don't @ me)

I learnt a bunch as a kid, and want to relearn one as an adult, butso far it just sits in the corner mocking me.

I've been learning the saxophone for two years now. It really helps that I have a teacher and therefore a reason to actually practice regularly. It's sometimes fun and sometimes frustrating, but I think playing music is one of the better hobbies one can have.
