I met Erik a few times in person, even followed him across California during a tour one summer, but had mostly stopped listening to his music by the time he died, so this was a major nostalgia + latent emotional flood for me. Feel like the last lines of the last track really resonate on how he wanted to be remembered/picture the afterlife. I hope he's at peace; he's missed.
