    I never understood even as a kid why Al Bundy hated his wife, she was nothing but nice to him and he's got a nice house that he can afford with a retail sales job salary, it never made sense.

      Guy had a hot wife who wanted to bang him all the time and he could afford a nice three bedroom house, car, occasional vacations, and a family all on a single minimum wage income. To people in the 1990's he was a loser, but to many of us in the 2020's he's living an impossible dream.
