it really is. I, for one, really enjoy his marxist book review of Settlers.
But settlers is not a very good book though. It's good activist literature I suppose, but it's not a good work of history and I can't recommend people read it because of that, it's way too ideological on how it interprets some events that's not consistent with Marxist historiography (and that's bad, because despite its valid place as an activist call to action book, people instead recommend it as history which is pretty problematic). It's got the same problems lots of popular history books have.
