This kicks ass, love these wacky little guys. I had a little drosera once, it was more tendril-ly, but I think I was using tap water which killed it pretty quick. Since come into a pinguicula and a nepenthes, which have been treated a bit better and are both happily sitting on my window sill eating bugs.
Just gonna say that if you're a disgusting dirtbag slob like the partner and I, and you end up with gnats in the kitchen, a carnivorous plant is an excellent solution to the problem! Just don't forget about it in the winter when you're trying to skimp on the heating bill, because the one we got definitely didn't survive us having the apartment at 60F haha
