It lets me check the Gaza war updates page but it seems any other page (homepage etc) is that crap.
I did "Update now" - the problem remains. I fixed it. It was an adblock issue.

Edit: What are they talking about?
"we need to serve you cookies so we can track your preference not to be tracked with cookies"
I had to read the first sentence twice to figure that out. Silly me not to understand that "We must track you" is for my own benefit.
If I'm blocking cookies, I'm obviously not consenting to cookies.
Lol, they know. They also know they are required to serve the option, but you are not required to not block it.

are you using ublock or Brave or ??
Seems like ublock with up to date filters should bypass it unless they came out with a new block again already. Might have to clear cache or manually update filters
I'm using Ublock and Edge.
Might have to clear cache or manually update filters
I'll try that later. It's very weird to me that the update page works.

Edit
I'm also using Adblock. But I'm not using the filter they are complaining about. I'm using other cookie filters in that app. I updated them and the problem seems to have gone away.
avoid mixing adblocking extensions too much - it results in weird behavior
It's just the default text, I got the same message with Firefox.
