teaching high school helps protect against the worst affects of this, since you have to be energetic and presentable, and saying anarchist/communist stuff to students gets them all excited
im just a highschool senior but i had one reallly cool leftie teacher so i think i wanna go down that path and maybe itll make me feel a little better
Teaching can be disheartening and frustrating, but when you and your students reach an understanding and can have a real dialogue about topics (not just school work, but things that interest both parties) that's when I feel most fulfilled. And when that stuff is about capitalist realism and communist/anarchist theory, it's the beautiful icing on the cake
