Like, it's so bad. I knew this, but my family threw on a documentary and it's just... like I don't even know. Is there any way we're making it out of this? Given the Political situation, I just don't see how we're going to stay under 3 degrees Celsius. I'm at a loss, this is why I don't watch these things because it just makes it so hard to go on.
What is the correct path forward? How could we possibly influence global politics enough to make a change in this? Serious answers wanted this is just so :agony-deep:
I'm currently reading KSR's new novel, The Ministry for the Future, and it seems like a mostly realistic take on what it would take to turn things around. It's...grimly optimistic, if that's a thing?
