No but if we marketed it right we could definitely grift some dipshit techbros.
I think a blockchain currency that was managed by a socialist state would fair much better than one that is managed by the entropy of the planet.
I've had a similar semi-serious thought. Something like ComCoin which can act like a community insurance pool or credit union or something. I feel blockchain can be used for good this way. People from all around the world can contribute to the fund and then receive funds in their time of need without needing to deal with currencies and banks and nations.

That just sounds like insurance. What does the blockchain ad to this?
It adds a level of insurance I guess? People can't just randomly siphon away funds or have to deal with restrictive and predatory banking policies? Idk... really. It was just a thought.
I guess you're right, actually. Having recources in an untraceable crypto might be a good way to deal with, for example, your strike fund being declared illegal. Monero is probably the best crypto to use in that regard.
No, crypto is inherently against communism, as it's about giving power to whoever owns the most currency already, it's wasteful of material, and it's based around a limited capped supply of currency that goes up in value favoring wealth hoarding.
I mean it would be far better to have a cryptocurrency that computes numbers of meaning, or is at least reliably pegged to an existing state's currency, or hopefully someone can come up with something that does both.
In the meantime everything is a fucking mess that needs to get purged before more people are burned by the baseless speculation.
