It's a terrible game. Putting aside the fact I had to spend an hour looking up how to make the single worst PC port of all time playable on modern hardware for a game that's older than said hardware, the gameplay is an uninspired bullet-sponge slogfest, the tutorial is nonsensical and an absolute drag, the characters and plot are basically "HEY GUYS, 'MEMBER PHILOSOPHY 101?!?!?!? 'MEMBER THAT JUNG DUDE???? ISN'T THIS SO QUIRKY THAT WE NAMED ALL THE BOSSES AFTER PHILOSOPHERS?!?!?!", the twist is unbelievably cliche, and you have to replay the entire game at least twice to get the actual ending. The only real upsides are the music and the evergrowing mountain of 2B Rule 34 it spawned.
I'm sorry, I can't hear you over the sound of my PC melting because the developers set the draw distance to INFINITY AND BEYOND with no way of adjusting that setting without installing six different community-made mods.
Ooooh are we doing a Nier struggle session?

I thought it actually did manage to perform a proper representation of master slave dialectics tho.
For the PC port part, sounds like you just got the square enix special
