Its a little hard to dry clothes outside in a rainy humid climate. I once dried clothes overnight in a -20 below situation, clothes were stiff, had a layer of wet and smelled like freezer. Other than that they were ok but dryers have their use. Maybe cheaper communal laundry mats that are well maintained with better hours?

Dehumidifiers can help, idk if they're any better or worse though

Sure but my stuff literally won't dry without it
