There's no way this doesn't throw off not only the pacing of every scene but change the soundtrack enough that it changes the mood of every scene. Just like enjoy things and stop obsessing with getting through stuff as quickly as possible?

Back when TV was still a thing, like late aughts, I remember TBS getting called out for this. They were speeding up Seinfeld eps to fit more ads into the space.

A lot of shows are already sped up slightly in the first place so they have to cut less to make it 20 minutes. So they were speeding up something that was already sped up
