    I refuse to watch bill maher but if I had to bet money on what the video is, I suspect the text beneath bill maher in the screen shot is sarcastic, and he's making the smuglord left-punching point that we should be thankful for the voyeuristic capitalist philanthrope and his exploitative shenanigans, and that criticism of said shenanigans is fun-hating hysteria.

    EDIT: I watched 3 seconds of the video, and yes, that is exactly what bill maher is doing.
