He was an international affairs journalists. He strongly opposed illegal Israeli settlements and was outspoken against Obama’s actions in Egypt following the Arab Spring. His core work was around pushing for reform in Saudi Arabia, for which he was dismembered by a billionaire monarchist.

Not gonna lean too much on one side of the other with how little i know, but Saudi Arabia just destroys a CIA asset, and the CIA just lets them… do that?
