Had a moment where I realized all my friends are behind a computer screen and I'm reliant on a internet connection to having some from of a social life. I don't quite know how to feel about that.

Make sure you connect with them on as many platforms as is practical. You do not own any social connection that can be destroyed by a ban from a single site.
