Just realized a 16 year old wrote this. Kind of heartbreaking. I didn't realize how much it sucked until I started doing it.

Retail work needs a general Union so bad. They’d be up against like every major retail company ever but it’s ridiculous what retail stores get away with. Something has to be done smh

Shit my job advertised that they give PTO and health and dental insurance, but actually they only offer health insurance to people in their state in the US (That's fine, I'm in Canada, why even offer it here?), don't offer dental at all, and PTO is not only not on the table, they have since removed any hint of it from anywhere that mentioned it.

Full time office job with benefits and guaranteed weekends off? Is this company hiring?

I get 20 days off total per year (sick, PTO combined) but I work for a company that is owned by a Swedish company and dear sweet baby jesus do they enjoy vacations. They vacation like Congress; no less than 10 weeks off per year for everyone I talk to. Doesn't matter if it's the CEO or one of ten dudes in order fulfillment and IT. And they still want to take more time off! Which, obviously, fuck working.

The funniest part of working under a Swedish company was trying to explain our healthcare system to them when we go over our monthly expenses. They could not understand why health insurance for 8 people cost $4,200 a month.
