Economists keep saying things are more affordable than they have ever been by pointing to things like TVs being cheap. So maybe we're not meant to consume veg or mushrooms or beans, maybe we're supposed to be eating TVs. Have you ever tried eating a TV? Maybe it's possible and economists know this but they can't just come out and say it because of the secret economist code. Maybe if we all buy and consume an entire TV every week instead of the food we think we need to buy we will be happier and we will have more money left over for paying rent and choosing our healthcare insurance on the open market. Economists know so much we should definitely just trust them on this one.
