    They want you buying all of their bullshit products, They want you working a dead-end job, and spending all of your money and time on consumption.

    If he’d get rid of all the other brain rot and start here he might make some progress

      Part of the problem is this endless consumption of social media. Dude's already alienated and filling the void with parasocial YouTube/Podcast relationships.

      Eventually, its the "consumerism bad" that will fall away, because consumerism is the only mechanism he's got to access the outside world.
