But we're on the verge of staying under 1.5C, which was some goal from a decade or so ago, becoming an impossibility. There's definitely some hyperbole as a lot of the commentary on the most recent report has been kind of apocalyptic, when each of these reports are essentially the same as the last one but a little worse. Like still genuinely a scary potential future, just seems to be a major jump in reactions from the most recent report, which I think was essentially as scary.
