    When I started working 40 hours fulltime I already wanted to kill myself, even before attaining any sort of well defined class consciousness.

    Half of that was too much for me. No idea how some people can live with spending 50% of their waking life making their boss rich and getting paid just enough to have a place to rest when they're not at work, year after year

      I think what horrifies me MORE is that some people I've encountered seem to be more or less happy with this arrangement, and it's like ?????

        I still wouldn't be happy with that arrangement even if I made like a million dollars per year somehow. There just isn't an amount of money you could pay me to be happy on a drudgery treadmill instead of living my life.
