yep. its not like pakistan is gonna help the USA either. its why we were so interested in baluchistan. if they rebelled we could maybe get port to land access

      1. Send in surge under the pretense of puling out

      2. Send in paratroopers because shooting them down is considered a war crime

      3. Taliban inevitably shoots down paratrooper

      4. Taliban has now did war crimes and is preventing Americans from coming home

      5. Try to milk another few years of involvement and kick withdrawal down the road to the next person

      6. ???

      7. Profit

Article 42 – Occupants of aircraft

        1. No person parachuting from an aircraft in distress shall be made the object of attack during his descent.

        2. Upon reaching the ground in territory controlled by an adverse Party, a person who has parachuted from an aircraft in distress shall be given an opportunity to surrender before being made the object of attack, unless it is apparent that he is engaging in a hostile act.

        3. Airborne troops are not protected by this Article.

Unless I am missing something that wont work.

If they were truly going for this narrative I would expect something far more obvious like some unfortunate missile attack on a civilian building or chemical weapons.

slight correction one of the first thing i learned in the army was, that you most certainly have to shoot down the Paratroopers . Because they are fucking Paratroopers and your a fucking Conscript and once they are on the ground they gonna be better then you are at this war shit... and you dont accidently become a Paratrooper .

It comes out to 6239 troops total if each order continues to be 1/5 as much as the last, in case anyone else was wondering that.
