no, that's natural red 4. red 40 is just artificial coloring, probably made from some kind of petroleum or something. it has been known to cause hyperactivity in children or something, but who the fuck knows.
also, ground coffee is 30% ground cockroaches. confectioners glaze (shellac, the shit that makes things shiny) is from the excretion of a kind of beetle, and anything that says 'carminic acid' or 'carmine' is natural red 4 (crushed beetles).
