Like I don’t even think it’s a pharma lobby issue anymore. They’ll just acquire nascent marijuana companies. The people around Biden are just that ideological?

"Medical marijuana" doesn't mean what it used to mean 10 years ago when it was quasi-legal in CA, ME, and CO. In half those 9 or so states with "medical" you can't even get flower!
Even in the states where it passed, it's rarely been more than 60% of the vote, and with the exception of New Mexico, none of the states with legal weed are exactly "red states". When they legalized weed in my state, I was floored at how many of my co-workers were whining and moaning about it. It's really, really, really not popular with people over like 40 (similar to a lot of things the broader Hexbear community thinks are incredibly popular with the American public).
