The Association of Independent Meat Suppliers told the BBC the industry had about 14,000 job vacancies currently.

It said Covid, Brexit and perceptions over career paths had caused a looming "recruitment crisis".

      I'm not vegan but I was always very irritated by anti-vegans for a variety of reasons but the more annoying one is like "oh look at the bleeding hearts caring about the animals!!!!"

      it's like no dude it's a really shitty industry for your fellow animals (because we're animals too, we're not seperate from the animal kingdom) as well

      high suicide rates, extremely high rates of mental illness, filled with illegal immigrants (so basically no rights), high rate of injury, etc.

    Watch for Biden doing a bipartisan deal where he releases some folks incarcerated on marijuana charges, but with an exemption for minimum wage for the remainder of their sentence, or something like that.
