Yeah that was why that stuck out to me so much. I've seen it danced around plenty of times but always with mealy mouthed false equivalence of Stalin or caveats of "well on paper" but he just said it outright with no qualifiers and not only that but he was the one that brought it up when he mentioned the signs.
