I always assume when someone is criticizing “anarchists” here they mean like libs appropriating anarchism
I mean, I have some fairly harsh criticisms of anarchism as an ideology even notwithstanding the radlibs appropriating it. Thing is I generally keep them to myself for the sake of non-sectariansism. But I’ll be honest I think the non-sectarian rule is perhaps a bit vague, like how hardly can I criticize you? Also it only really seems to apply to MLs Maoists and anarchists, nobody seems to hold back on Trots or Primitivists.
I mean personally I’m fine with it being mostly a respectful thing between anarchists and mls. I definitely am not a fan of expanding it to include like every tendency, especially ultras or socdems.
And I think criticism is fine I think you’re just meant to keep it in the respective comms. Honestly I think the differences between ml vs anarchism don’t really amount to much meaningfully when even together we’re still majorly outnumbered and sidelined.
I mean, as an anarchist myself I have harsh criticisms of it as well. I think it's healthy to be critical of and aware of the flaws that any ideology has, nothing is perfect.
I think that there is room for some limited crit in the relevant spaces, and for shitposting, which is what the dunking on Trots and Primitivists really is. I think there is an issue when it gets to a point where you can't post something related to one specific ideology (aside from like, trash ideologies where they're so problematic they aren't worth even platforming) without getting absolutely rolled in the comments, regardless of what that is. Nobody wants to get a hundred angry comments calling them an anarkiddie just like nobody wants to get a hundred angry comments calling them a tankie. That's all meaningless and purely suited for being antagonistic.

Socdems don't count as a left tendency, they're not even anti-capitalists.
I agree but there are spaces that try to big tent it. I just wouldn’t want us to be one

I've seen at least one instance of an anti-trot comment removed.
