tap water from different sources tastes different. no it's not just temperature. even building to building it can taste different.
Water is not just water. Trace amounts of minerals means there is a difference in taste from place to place. It is also who laundry detergent should be dosed differently if you water is "hard" than if it's "soft".
Nah, some bottled water just tastes absolutely foul, while some just tastes like filtered tap water that's been sitting in plastic for weeks in temperatures it probably shouldn't have been at. And I guess some just tastes like filtered tap water. Don't think it's a brand thing so much as a shipping conditions thing, though.
I just drink filtered tap water unless the water's out, which happens often enough that I have to keep several gallons of water on hand just in case.
Really feel bad for the people with bad tap water. Whenever I visit relatives in Florida it's like "damn this shit is nasty"
Tap water gang represent - I refuse to buy water unless it is completely unavoidable.
Fiji does taste different to me though, like hard water vs soft water different.
Tap water. With occasionally a lime or lemon squeezed in if I want to feel fancy.
This is another thing that amazes me about the US; the poor quality of tap water in many regions.
confession: i've been buying and enjoying the Smartwater "infusions" that taste like a hint of a memory of, like, cucumber and lime. no it is not worth the price. i am not very clever.
I actually used to drink from the tap all the time until it started smelling like sewage when the tap was open, supposedly plumber found nothing. I put up a countertop filter and it seems to help quite a bit
I'm lucky to live in a place with a reverse osmosis filter. Best water I've ever drank, it's honestly ruined me for taps elsewhere.
Fun fact: Tap water from a modern water supply contains less pollutants and microbes than bottled water.
