The speed with which america has been crumbling is causing me whiplash

    Like I have said time and again on here. The collapse of the Empire is going to look slow until a tipping point is hit and we won't know it till it happens but the actual fall is going to happen faster than anyone is prepared for. We won't even notice the ground rushing toward us until the last second.

    Just watched Children of Men with some comrades so I'm feeling a bit extra doomer.

      The Empire needs to fall if humanity is to have a chance in the tumultuous century ahead of us. It was never going to be a clean or painless affair, and my heart goes out to all our comrades worldwide who will suffer for it.

      However, the fall itself, especially with a surging communist China as a likely replacement on the international stage, is pure :bloomer: to me

      Climate change famines are definitely not far over the horizon. I'm thinking that'll be one of the big moments. Especially as we've seen how well we handle these supply chain issues.
