This song is the funniest thing to me, because it's just such naked and unashamed propaganda. It is completely substanceless. You could substitute anything you don't like into this song and it would make exactly as much sense.
It sums up anti-Communism as an ideology very well though. It starts off just saying "Communism is bad; don't do it" and devolves into "War is good actually, and if you disagree then you should be executed".
This is funny as a reduction but a large portion of country was reactionary and right wing.
