The Wolf of Soissons killed 4 & multilated 14, fighting allegedly dozens of people during their career

The Beast of Gevaudan's deeds are likely exaggerated, or the work of several animals. Still by some counts the deaths are in the hundreds

None of these animals faced people with a rule against using weapons
