Think about it, the usa highway system is as successful as it is because of strict government involvement. If it was to be sold away to private companies, all of it would be turned into toll roads and and would deteriorate. Cars would be sold en mass, people who would otherwise drive would buy train tickets, highway usage would plummet! Like how the nile allowed egypt to project it's power the usa highway system projects power, you could literally destroy america by instituting capitalism in this one institution. That's why I propose we infiltrate the libertarian party and push for highway privatization, it's bound to fail, it would lead to cars going the way of the horse and buggy. Sure America has literally no public transport but that's a sacrifice I'm willing to put on other people.
