What should I expect? Is there anyone else here who went in for an exam as an adult? I'm 21 atm, male presenting, and I just.. I'm freaked out, honestly. I'm terrified if being a hypochondriac - that's one of my biggest fears.

I had my test for autism about half a year ago and I’m the same age. My assessment was just learning about who I was and what my likes and dislikes were. The person conducting the exam then called my mom and asked her questions about my childhood and my behavior growing up. About a week or two later I got my results and i found I was on the spectrum. It is kinda a relief and it helps fill in the blanks and answers a lot of questions you had revolving incidents in the past etc.

Again just answer each question as faithfully as you can, go in with confidence and really don’t stress about it. As long as you stay calm and answer each question as best as you can it won’t be that bad and the payoff is really worth it.

I hope your results help you come to terms with how hard life is and alleviates some stress

Ps you’re a great poster too very funny
