Microsoft Access is a database management system from Microsoft that combines the relational Microsoft Jet Database Engine with a graphical user interface and software-development tools.

Microsoft Access was developed by Anarcho-Primitivists as an avant-garde critique of the inherent contradiction of Western Techno-Capitalism, but accidently got implemented at a Fortune 500 company by an IT department too overworked to deploy SQL. Then it took off because of the inherent contradiction of Western Techno-Capitalism.

Its like the Dogecoin of business technology.
