    Bernie's yuuuuge Nevada win had just happened a week earlier and he was probably looking more like he had a shot than at any other time in the voting

      Yeah I completely get why they would be talking about it. It’s all anyone here was talking about for sure. But Michael also talks a lot about the broader implications of Bernie’s candidacy in a way that’s still relevant today. The debates about polling, meanwhile, are maddening

    Honestly, what do people expect? Even zizek brought up when an anarchist confronted him that almost all of the left's recent growth in the US happened due to Bernie's electoral efforts. People aren't going to ask about long stagnant and obscure orgs that play no meaningful role in public life.

    Electoralism can't do anything when all that's really on the table is culture. People can tell me about how anti electoralism erodes protections for the marginalized. Those protections have been doomed since all economic intervention in the lives of regular people got annihilated by neoliberalism.
