      They have large presence, but have never actually won outright according to the Jacobin article, and this win is surprising too considering all the polls have them at second

      the right wing OVP was up 18% in last election over KPO. 20% to 38%. OVP fell 12% this election and KPO went up 9%. OVP mayor just resigned too, KPO leader will be mayor.
