  • I think only two people are explicitly gay in the game, the rest are implied (some heavily) subtext. The fans run with those subtext though, lots of good fan contents for every type of parings. Texlapp is one of most popular one for example, two mafia heiresses, one ran from their past life, the other chased after to see her failed and be dragged back into the swamp. The event that resolved their conflict was super great and brought us this banger.

Best place to look for more is under the Arknights tag on tumblr.

  • Seeing this at the end of 5 years anniversary stream was so good.

Highly recommend anyone that love tower defense and can tolerate the gacha aspect to play it. Beside all the awesome treatment of the devs toward their artists and communities, beautiful arts, music and animations, its story offers really sharp critique of capitalism: American prison system, American healthcare system, England oppression of Ireland,...

In the lastest main story chapter, we are shown glimpse of a growing movement of the oppressed that I feel is just a stand in for a revolutionary left movement. Here is a quote from its leader:

"He said to ignore the Infected in positions of power, because they still enjoy exploiting others with their authority and see disease as only a tool. And that we should also grant the same kind of liberation to any oppressed people, and not just our sick brethren. Because they can fight alongside us, and we'll need their strength to put up a fight. ... What we want is to send a message to all the aristocrats, and oppressors, those trying to divide, suppress, and eliminate us— The blade they so despise hangs high above their necks."

Best part of all is the stand in for France had been utterly destroyed before the game story even started france-cool

  • Can't thank you enough for this and your other comment, putting in so much effort, much appreciated :penguin-love:

I have checked out Ashley Weston website and a few of her videos/articles since another person has also mentioned her and it looks very useful, I'm sure I will make great use of it.

Your advice about dressing to lengthening my silhouette to balance my body is something I never think of for sure since I have above average height where I live (Asian country). Will keep it in mind when choosing my outfit from now on!

  • Thanks for the advice! :meow-bounce:

    How much money ya got

I live in a third world country, could spend maybe at most 400-500$ on clothing a month.

also where are you starting, what’s your every day outfit look like? what’s your climate? how old are you? what body shape are you working with?

My everyday outfit is just the bare minimum of a t-shirt and a jean. Live in a hot climate, I also tends to sweat . In my early 20, asian, 5'8, 145 lbs, not exactly chubby but close to it, relatively wide shoulder.

once you get the basics down and look like Generic Well Dressed Guy #53 you can start thinking about personalizing it with your own flair.

    That's my intention!

  • Yeah maybe the reason I felt the pacing is slow is because of the difference in medium more than anything else, since it probably take half of the times for me to read the chapters covered in this ep. The more serious feeling could also be due to that, since the voice-acting + music add more gravitas to the scenes, could also just be that my recent experience of CSM is season 2 of manga which is even more goofy than usual affecting my opinion. Will need to see more episodes to judge but maybe it's just difficult to capture Fujimoto's style into an anime.

  • Fun episode, gorgeous as always, especially the ED (heard that someone solo animated it!) but I feel like it doesn't quite get the exact vibe of manga, which is more snappy and messy. The anime take itself more serious, the pacing a bit too slow and the style is too clean to make the comedic moments hit as much. Also quite a few flashback shots of things said just a few minutes ago for some reason. The slow pacing also make Denji's horniness feel drawn out.

  • He played and enjoyed story-driven games like RDR, TLOU, Death Stranding, Yakuza and many more just fine. His problem was always about the anime tropes in the vast majority of JRPGs that doesn't suit his sensibilities and slow-paced, repetitive turn-based combat - he still enjoy turn-based stuff when it is fun like Persona 5 and Into the Breach for example :shrug-outta-hecks:

  • Love how blatantly propagandistic this is, just quoting some random profs from some random Unis that are against the report while providing no opposing arguments, like for example from the ones who actually works on the report. The image also make sure to show the readers of the evil, camera-covering Chinese in front of suspicious fog-covered lab to guide their thoughts to dismiss this report before they even read a words of it. The repeated reminders that did you know Prof Sach, report's chair, went on an anti-vaccination podcast to discuss his report, which sucks admittedly but I imagine because no other outlets want to the report.

Vtuber community is just part of the anime community though so it is not especially/uniquely bad. It just has the characteristics that it share with anime community which include weebs and incels but also LGBT, chill normal people if you know to look. I know you are just mostly referring to the former but sometimes it feels kinda painful to see the latter just get lumped in with them without second thought.

  • What is the root of the situation Taiwan faced now, is it not because a bunch of civil wars losers fled to it, occupied it and allied themselves with US against China, so what China could have even done to allow for any sorts of independence without any guarantee that they are not tightly wound to US interests. You're talking like Taiwan is without blame here.

As for containing China, it's a PART of not the entire effort, any act of war against it will trigger response from US and allies and since China not gonna flatten it, it will act as a nuisance, holding out for reinforcements and deterring China deployments near it.
